Description

This zine is a collection of interviews given by Cindy Crabb of the zine Doris, where she talks with alcoholics of differing ages about their experiences drinking as well as with using drugs (the latter for two of the people interviewed). The interviews delve into how each person started drinking, their relationship with substances and how said relationship impacted the people in their lives, as well as when and through what manner they seeked recovery (whether in rehab, involvement with alcoholics anonymous, or other more individual methods). These interviews explore topics of shame, peer pressure, social anxiety, trauma, and navigating life sober.
